I downloaded a bunch of .wma files that were created by a friend. I started converting them to mp3 to add them to a podcast. I had to break for a few days & in the meantime had to restart my computer. Now, when I try to encode more of the files, FFmpegX goes through the motions of encoding, but the resultant file is only about 1/1000 of the size of the previously-converted files (verified by re-encoding one). The files are created, but they are only a few seconds long; only one out of nine had any audio on it at all.

I thought I pretty much just used the FFmpegX defaults the first time I worked on the project - selected .MP3, checked Encode audio, left Audio Bitrate at 128, selected Sample Rate of 144000, Channels = mono, Mode = CBR. That setup obviously does not work now. I have tried changing each of them independently on a known good file & I see no difference in the output.

Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated.
