    Hi!

I bought about year ago this JVC DR-M1SLE DVD-recorder (it was very expensive back then) and now it has problem, when AC plug is connected it starts up inmediately blinking 'LOADING' text and nothing happens.

I saw topic about DR-M10 loading problems because of few faulty resistors/capacitors and i decided to see whats inside my player.

I Found one CapXon 2200uF/10V capacitor whitch was bulged slightly so i swapped it to new one but LOADING is still tehere.

Should i change all filter caps from power board?

Here is pic of the power board, i replaced that bulged cap with that enermous 3300uF/50V (green cap is replacing other CapXon 2200uF/10V for a test)

  2. You can't exchange a 3300 for a 2200, if that's what you did. You can exchange a 50 volt for a 10 volt, but the uf has to stay the same.

That 50V cap was only i had.

Have to try swapping all of those filter caps (going to buy new ones next week)

    Edit:

In fact, i have repaired many PC motherboards and replaced bulged caps sometimes with much grater uf and they work just fine
