how to merge mp4's ?

i have used xilasofts dvd to mp4 program to convert a dvd for my ipod video. the software made a seperate mp4 file for each vob of the dvd, leaving me with 5 mp4 files. now, i would like to combine these mp4's to make one.

i have nero and some other software that should be able to accomplish this, however, i simply cannot figure out how to do it.

any help is appreciated.

Try VirtualDub. Open the first file, then append the rest. Save as Direct stream copy. BTW, VirtualDub Mod can also open VOBs and convert them to MP4 video, depending on what video and audio codec you use.

Or use Nero Recode and convert a dvd directly to one ipod mp4 file.
