    Hello ,

    I have a HANNSpree lcd Tv (model F65112U1000). My mother bought me this great Tv for my birthday, sadly it doesn't work (ebay ). When connected (DC-IN, ANT, etc..) the Tv turns on but it has a completely white (bright screen. The only visibly responsive button is "source" (the tv goes black for a second and then back to white). I'm not quite sure what else to include.
    I've googled this a bit and found a "white screen of death" that the iPod video tends to display, and a "blue screen of death" that windows seems to have, but nothing except a "white wash", which seems to be a helpful feature-- not a problematic one, feature for Tvs.

    Anyone know of an inexpensive way to fix this?

    Has it ever worked for you?

    Was it supposed to work when you bought in on Ebay?

    Does it have a warranty?

    If this is a Ebay purchase and the seller does not wish to make good and did not identify it as not working you may have some limited recourse through Ebay.

    If you paid with a credit card you will probably have recourse through your credit card issuer/

    If you paid with PayPal you may have some limited recourse there./

    I assume it was supposed to work, it was a gift so I'm not quite sure what the method of payment was and rather than a refund I was hoping for a quick fix-- Do you think its plausible?

    Have you run the setup from the menu button and set to either broadcast or cable and then scan for channels and if that don't work call there support

    HOW TO OBTAIN SERVICE

    Our Technical Service Agent will provide you with instructions on the product return and repair process. Services covered by the warranty as described in the “Limited Warranty Coverage”will be provided at no cost to the customer. Other services as defined in this manual will be performed at the owner's expense.
    For all sets smaller than 25”, the owner is responsible for packing, shipping, and insurance costs to send the product to the repair center. The Warrantor will not be held liable for damage or loss during the shipping process. For sets larger than 25”, please contact Hannspree Customer Service for additional service instructions.

    Well, I would have run the setup if I could see it . I can only see white. I've tried calling costumer service but it was currently closed. Business hours don't include sundays. Any ideas on running the setup blindly?
