Ok the last few polls I've done have gotten the votes but not too many posts. Here's a topic I'm sure will go to at least 2 pages long

    Who is your favorite superhero?

I guess when it comes down to it Superman would probably be my number 1. Though the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles would be a close second

    Ok let the debate begin!!!!
Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?

I would go with those two as well, in the same order.

  7. The guy with the cape and tights, and his little Boy Wonder.

Looking back, I'm surprised that so many big names actually
    appeared on that show.

    Frank Gorshin
    Lee Merriweather
    Ertha Kitt
    Cesar Romero
    Burgess Meredith

By the way, Batman was originally supposed to be broadcast
    with a laugh track.

  8. Batman the Comic book hero not Batman the 60s camp comedy show. (Although I enjoyed watching it as a kid, he's not what i think of when I think Batman.)
Also not that lame George Clooney movie either.

Hmm, no Eric Cantona. A worthless poll.
He's a liar and a murderer, and I say that with all due respect.

    Heeeeeey Yoda,

Which Batman did you mean in your poll?
    Batman.

The guy with cape and the bat on the uniform.

All versions are what I'm getting at. We all have our favorites and least favorites but its still the guy with the mask that you want to see stick it to the bad guys.

From the choices listed: Wolverine - and I was reading X-Men back in the early '80s so it has nothing to do with the movies. I was very pleasantly surprised with how well Hugh Jackman played Wolvie...can't wait for the Wolverine movie next year!

If Sandman had been up there that would be my choice (the whole Endless Family, actually - especially Death). Neil Gaiman is a genius. (whoops, missed the 'Write in option' before I voted...ah well)

I used to hate Batman because of the TV show. The only redeeming thing the show had was the car. In 1986 my brother bought me the Frank Miller classic "The Dark Knight Returns".

From then on my opinion of Batman as a boy-scout-in-a-bat-suit was forever changed and he still reigns as #1.

    Green Lantern (especially Hal)
Batman (black and gray costume eras, 40s and 2000s)
    Superman (40s vigilante)
    X-MEN (classic 60s or 90s teams)

I cannot choose a "best" from those.

I voted for BATMAN because these days (and for a long time now) I have been a bigger fan of THE BATMAN than any other comic book character.

A close runner up for me and my first love as a kid ... SPIDER-MAN

Best comic book ever ... Frank Miller's THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS
