SVCD Just On A MAC

I have noticed a lot of new OS X tools for VCD creation over the past 3 months. Has anyone been able to fully create a SVCD on a MAC without the use of Virtual PC ?

If so, How ?

What tools (and where have you found them) that will allow creating (X)(S)VCD on a Mac, especially in OS X? I just bought a Mac, and am looking to fully transition, if possible, out of the Windows environment. I'm a newbie all over again.

Any help, or sources to read would be a great help. I'm still digesting the VCD-on-Mac section of the VCDHelp Forum.
