    It is my understanding that this tool can be used to remove subtitles from avi's. If you know how to use this tool to do this please post a guide or instructions for using in English.

    Any help is much appreciated 8)

    I don't believe so. What it appaers to do it is read subtitles and create external subtitle files. It's OCR capablities are poor to say the least.

    If you want to actually remove hard subs from the image, you need to look at one of the delogo filters for virtualdub.
