    I got these really long mp3 files, 3-6 hours. I want to kw a program that can automatically split them into 30 min segments, and offer batch processing so I can do a whole directory at a time. Does such a program exist? This has to be done without reencoding.

    Yes there is - I just don't remember the name. mp3splt perhaps?
