  1. Hi,
I have an quite old CRT TV (about 10 years old), and it seems that the cathodic tube is putting too much brightness.

So, does it exist a calibration (brigtness, constrast) picture to burn to a dvd or a free downloadable video espacially made to tune the TV settings ?

The user controls on a TV are

    "Brightness" - controls black level
"Contrast" or "Picture" - controls white level

Set these brighness first, then contrast and repeat using a stable TV broadcast.

DVD player also has video controls. A good way to set these is from a commercial DVD with the THX optimizer.

Rent one of these DVD titles to get the optimizer.

That is the quick method. Higher end TV systems need more precise adjustment.
