Nero burning ROM application supports Photo on VCD, just open a VCD session, and drag the pictures into the work area and then burn the VCD, on the CDR. The slide show is great but it is without any music.

VCDEasy can also be used to do this.

The problem with using Nero is that such VCDs aren't playable on all DVD players. Pioneer players may refuse to play such discs. My dad has a Pioneer DVD player that's maybe 2 years old and it won't play any photo VCDs if Nero makes them. It will, however, play Nero authored VCDs and SVCDs, just not photo VCDs. I was able to make photo VCDs with VCDEasy that his player would play with no problems. Nero, as usual, does some shortcuts in making photo VCDs and some players, like Pioneer, are pretty strict and demand compliance with the standards.

Look like the Poster only has a CD burner, so Photo VCD is the way he/she want to use.

I was on a Pioneer DV333, when I was making Photo VCD. Lately, Pioneer stops licensing VCD and SVCD on thier players to cut cost. You can tell by the missing VCD and SVCD logo on the units. So, they are no longer 100% S/VCD compliance, but just able to play mpeg-1, and mpeg-2 files as best they can.

Most of the lower cost DVD players do play VCD.
