    Their marketing slogan "beyond high definition" is misleading.
    It should be "slowly approaching high definition". AVC will solve media distribution issues without need for this format. It is way too late.

    For storage these guys are way late, late, late. 100GB 2layer-2side DVD might sound good but HDDs are going over 1TB and climbing fast. For storage, BD will be like the flash in the pan Zip drive.
