I just Downloaded a bunch of videos from Youtube and they are all in .flv format.
If I play it in FLV player, it's impossible to increase the video size. Therefore, I
tried converting the .flv file to .avi or .wmv but the quality decreases.

Is there any way to sustain or increase the quality of these .flv videos?

the quality is what it is. You aren't going to make it any better. Are you just wanting to resize the video? The bigger you make it, the nastier it is going to look.

  3. If all you want to do is to watch them in full screen, you can use ffdshow to decompress them (and using a player like Media Player Classic to play them).

Thank you to greymalkin and hrlslcbr.

No. I'm afraid I was misunderstood. I wanted to increase the quality of these .flv files but I understand it's impossible.

Using Total Video Converter, I managed to create the same quality of the .flv file (13MB) but the Lossless Avi file was over 1 GB.

Oh well, thanks for your help mates
