I posted this in the subtitles forum, but I realized it might have been the wrong forum, because Im asking a specific question about a specific player. Well here is the repost.

Hi, I have a lot of personal DVD's that I just recently converted to XviD. I created all the sub files using VobSub. The thing is, on my computer, they work fine. Its the nice defaulted white subs. But when I put them on my stand alone the OPPO Digital - OPDV971H, the subs display but they display with the greenish outline in the subs. How do I change this to display white?

I am thinking, it is a player/firmware issue. Because, the colors are left defaulted in the VobSub configuration menu. They display WHITE in Windows Media Player, VLC, and my PowerDVD. But on the OPPO player, its green. Any known firmware issues? Or do I have to edit the colors themselves in the .sub and .idx files.

    Any help would be appreciated

Have you contacted Oppo's tech support on this? They tend to be very helpful & respond quickly to questions.
