  1. I need help.
I want to buy a portable DVD player that can play all region DVDs.
Also, do all region DVD players usually allow you to play data discs of .wav, .mpg, .ram (less likely~), etc... media files?

I want something that is under $125 but I want the battery life to be longer than 2.5-3.
I've seen a decent one on amazon.

    Anyone know of any? Thanks!

Playback of "data" files and region-free playback of DVDs are two independent functions. You can normally find settop players that play XVID or DIVX (usually in an AVI container) and/or raw MPEG so I would assume that there would have to be some portable "media" players that can as well.
    If in doubt, Google it.
