    Hey, I've always had my mouse as "double click to open an item".. recently it went to single click mode..so i thought no big deal...but when I go to tools->folder options..it was already on double click..so i set it to single click then back to double click this solved it for a while..but it always goes back, and this doesn't always solve it. I have no idea why this has happened, I did install photoshop 9 earlier, but I don't see how that could have affected it. Any ideas anyone?

    Has you desktop switched to Active Desktop ? This can affect mouse behaviour for desktop icons
