    I have problem plaing file encoded using tmpgenc and studio pinnacle using wmp 11 but not wmp classic

    why is that so?

    you need a mpeg2 decoder, http://www.videohelp.com/tools?s=6#6 , or software dvd player like powerdvd,windvd installed to be able to play mpeg2/dvd/svcd with wmp.

    media player classic has a builtin mpeg2 decoder.
