    hi i donwload a sub file but when i try to opening tha file(unzipped)it create a folder
    that where is the problem icant open it is like something missing
    a window alert opn asking what tipe of program to use
    any help wil be appreciate

    is the file an archive file or is it just the actual file you need? I can not begin to tell you how many times I have sent people short .avi files only to hear they can't unzip them.

    Some can be opened with notepad for minor editing but some programs are dos based and don't have a gui so the subs are opened by running a command line program first.

    What is the file extension? If it's srt then use notepad to view them.

    Reading back a few threads where you posted this question or looking at the tools section on this site should give you some idea of which programs are used to edit or process certain sub types.


    btw) Just for future reference.... Your title should not be general like, tech question but more specific like, How do I open files with the extension ..... .sub or .srt or whatever the extent happens to be.
