Hi all, I have mini dv clip that has a noise like high ISO noise in digital still. It was capture in low light mode. I plan to use Avisynth. Can anyone suggest what is the best noise removal plug in for this? A one frame capture is included for your analysis.

I would use Convolution3D with avisynth for this, although from such a reduced still it is hard to see just how much of a problem you have.

I always recommend WinDV for transferring from miniDV to PC. It'll give you a DV AVI file at the resolution and audio quality that was used during shooting the video clip. In most cases, this will be full D1: 720 x 480 / 576 (NTSC / PAL).

@ hanugro: My apologies, I misinterpreted "grab".

It will only be slow in preview. All noise reduction filters take a heavy processing toll, so don't expect to see it in realtime with audio in most cases. As it is only the preview, it is not a concern.
