I want to put a time stamp over a video, but the video doesn't have any embedded time stamp data since i converted it from an mpeg2 file. how can i change the datecode info in the new DV file so that i can use one of the programs out there that will read timestamp data and overlay it onto each frame? thanks

Thread: Change Time/Date Code?

I know this is a year later, but I was looking to perform the same function, and found this program that did the trick:
http://video2dv.com/index.php?lang=en&page=dvdtc
I know it is old, but it does exactly what I needed it to do!
Our Enosoft DV Processor will do it.
(You need a CPU with SSE2 instructions, though. Your profile shows Athlon XP which, as far as I know, doesn't have them).
