i used MediaInfo.
the audiostream is A_AAC/MPEG4/LC/SBR.
i have mkv pack installed, so i can play the video and audio properly, i can switch between 2 languages.
but when i load it into VirtualDubMod, i try to extract the audio stream, (full processing mode, PCM uncompressed), i get this: "No audio decompressor could be found........."
what else do i need to install?

There are no ACM aac decompressors since ACM is baaad. Use something else such as mplayer to decode.
problem solved, i used mkvextract to extract the audio into .aac
then used Nero's file encoder to convert to WAV.
Make sure that it recognised and decoded the SBR part. Some decoders don't for raw aac streams since there is no header marking it as such.
