I installed a Hauppauge WinTV PVR 150 card on my computer, but it only shows the first 30 channels. My TV has lots more, accessable without a cable box. Anyone ever run into something like this before?

make sure CATV is selected.

did you perform a complete channel scan in order to find all channels?
Can you add the channels manually?
Check the other settings also. Hauppauge cards, at least the 150, don't come with much of a manual, but I recently installed one and I had no problems getting all the local CATV channels up to 99. Check Hauppauge's site also and see if there are updated drivers for the card. http://www.hauppauge.com/pages/suppo...rt_pvr150.html
Upper channels differ for UHF and CATV
Some tuners only go up to cable 62

Cable channels over 62 require "Ultra Band" capability.
Most US cable systems put digital channels on Ch 100 up. (4-10 digital channels per RF channel).

Cable channels 95-99 are actually part of "MidBand" along with Ch. 14-22
