samsung hd 950

hi

i recently purchased a samsung hd 950 dvd player to go with my samsung hd ready plasma panel. i wanted to make the player multi region so i used the remote control hack, this works fine with my dvd collection which is mostly made up of american dvds so ordered 2 hd dvds from amazon but to my horror they will not play. any help you can give me as to how to get it to work would be greatly appreciated.

It's not a hd dvd player, it has the wrong laser, it's made to upscale regular dvd's to 720p
That's why it costs under 150 dollars
