At our Mediaroom we use a combination between an inhouse written player and a Blackmagic Design Decklink card. The problem with the player is that it's not very flexible. We only can playout AVI and MPG to our AVID network. In my search for the perfect player I found Zoomplayer. It can address external video renderers. Alas... Only when this renderer shows up under the DS Category. Not under EXTERNAL VIDEO RENDERER.
Decklink has DS support, but the DECKLINK VIDEO RENDER shows up under EXTERNAL VIDEO RENDERER.
Is there a way to get the DECKLINK VIDEO RENDER appear under de DS Category Filters?
Making a graph with GraphEdit is always possible, but not very userfriendly for a lot of my computerileterate coworkers.
