I've seen that message when I've failed to fill in one of the required fields. Often this is the fps field (on the Video tab) that is left blank when ffmpegX can't determine the fps from the source video. You have to manually fill in what you want (or choose it from the popup).

The fps section is filled and I still get the script error. It seems like no matter what I do, the script error will always pop-up upon clicking "Encode."

I've tried previous versions to see if this is just a recent problem, but no such luck-- still get the same error.

Check if you have any spaces or other characters (other than a-z, A-Z, 0-9, or parens) anywhere in the pathnames to the app, target file, destination file, or binaries.

I checked, and don't have anything out of the ordinary.
    Here's a screen of how it's named.

(NOTE: Not according to this picture-- I also tried having the output resolution the exact same dimensions as the input dimensions, the same apple script error occurs. This goes for audio output also.)

I've been searching the net for a solution, and everywhere I go comes out as a dead end. Mostly because no one has solved this problem.

I've seen only one solution that involved something with the the language that you use on your system and its region. But, that solution only worked for that one person who had "Polish" as his set language, and switching it to English solved his problem.
