vob to psp h.264
I looked around for a similiar issue:

I am checking the decode with QuickTime Option as I read it will keep the audio in sync.
Without the option checked it runs. I am waiting to see the results without that option checked.
Any suggestons?

Apologies - false alarm. I was under the impression that psp h.264 didn't work well without the "Decode with QuickTime" Option. Maybe with some avi or divx files it may be true, but vob to psp h.264 works just fine.
EJub,
Glad to hear that the VOB-to-PSP h.264 option is working for someone. Unfortunately, I haven't had the same luck. After two months of testing, reconfiguring, etc., the best I can get is an h.264 file with a one-tenth of second misalignment between video and audio. Worse, is that about nine out of every ten conversions ends up getting interupted on my PSP with a "This video cannot be played" error or crashing it entirely. Oddly, converting the same VOB using ffmpegX's standard PSP settings (VOB-to-MPEG-4 SP) works just fine every time.
Would you mind sharing your configuration and results? Specifically,...
1. Mac model/speed/RAM/etc.?
2. QuickTime version?
3. What are your settings in the "Applications -> Utilities -> Audio MIDI Setup"?
4. What are the duration of the individual video and audio tracks when you open the h.264 file in QuickTime and select "Window -> Show Movie Properties" [Apple - J]?
5. Have you watched the h.264 file on your PSP entirely through (beginning to end)?
Your input would be greatly appreciated.

I PM'd you the answers - but more or less everything seems fine - I would have to pay a touch more attention to the 1/10 sec syncing. Haven't had any interuupted conversions.
