When playing xvid AVI files in quicktime I keep on seeing the bottom of the image scrambled/corrupted at certain points.

This doesn't happen in VLC or on Windows with the exact same files. I've tried 3ivx, Xvid codec and the delegate component and all 3 methods produce this playback problem.

Is there any way to stop these errors from appearing? and why do they appear in the first place?

I know I could just use VLC, but I prefer quicktime, and certain other applications I use have quicktime playback within them.

Hi, well that cleans up the video perfectly.

The only problem is there is no sound to my xvid videos now. Installing DivX fixes the sound but also re-intrioduces the corruption problem I had the first instance.

How do I use FFusion and have sound also?
