Recent generic ink for the Epson

I know that there have been many posts regarding generic ink for the Epson R200/220.

A couple of months ago I ordered a set of cartridges from megatoners.com. All colors worked fine except black, which was more like a light shade of gray than black. I replaced that single cartridge with an OEM Epson one and everything looked good (all other colors were the megatoners generic).

The reason I am asking is that generic INK sellers tend to switch around their supplies before using.

So anyone who recently ordered generic inexpensive ink for the Epson R220, what can you recommended? Not yet ready for CIS!

I've ordered ink from Rima.com for my Epson R300 and the G&G Brand generic ink that they sell works fine. Best generic ink I've come across so far.
