    Hello All,

Yesterday, I wrote a some files into a Disc, it wrote fine. After that when I re-inserted the DVD to open files, it started reading the files and after some time, it suddenly freezed. when I opened the disc and look at that, I noticed a very thin white line (as if it is scratched there). I am not sure why this is happened. I burned almost 100 DVD's with this drive, but suddenly I got this problem.

DVD Drive: I/O Magic 16X internal drive
    DVD Disc: Playo disc
    Software: Nero 6.xxx

Can any one help me regarding this

    Thanks in Advance
    Sunil Kumar.

Was the scratch there before you burned?
I always check the blank for dust, fingerprints and scratches before I burn.If it does it again I would get a can of air and blast the inside,if that doesn't help then I think it's time for a new drive.

    No,

There were no scratches before burning.
