  1. Hi folks,

Now that I have XP running natively on my MacBook Pro 2ghz 2gb, I wonder whether I should pay attention to PC encoding software to convert my retail TV series DVDs to avi files.

Does the PC offer any faster, easily automated options than the Mac for this task? Handbrake seems pretty damn fast now on the Macbook, but a program that would just rip all the episodes at the press of a button or two might appeal.

On handbrake you have to reset the resolution each time you add something to the queue etc. Just a small thing

    Cheerio!

I dont mean to sound bitter, but any Windows XP questions, even when they are from Windows XP running on Apple hardware, should be asked and answered outside the Mac forum.

  4. Well, I'd prefer it to stay in this forum, as the point is to get people who know the Mac software to comment on whether to stick with it, or try PC counterparts.

  5. Well almost every Mac user will tell you to stick with Mac Im sure...As for PC counterparts, there is zilion various apps which can do the thing you want like there is zilion apps for almost everything on windows /which I dont count as + but thats my opinion/...So I have to agree with AntnyMD..You'll find better answer on windows forum section for sure...
