Record it with the included tv software or use a third party software like progdvb.
or what do you mean with rip?
I dont want to record thing is I want to get an H264 encoded SKY Italia promo on Hotbird using DVB-S I dont think there is anyway using progdvb.
For sky italia there is no way.
For TPS there is an alternative, by using a patch version of SkyView.La Linea by Osvaldo Cavandoli

what do you mean by patched braking thier encryption or something?
Both are free to air.
If you mean rip as in demux to get the video and audio seperated you can use a program like projectx. It can demux hdtv transport streams. From there you can take the demuxed video and reencode it to the dvd standard resolution for your region (pal by the sounds of it). And you can take the extracted ac3 and leave it as it is for remuxing with the downconverted video file so you have a ready to author mpeg file.
Or if you just want the audio to make a cd or mp3 out of you can skip the video conversion step and take the ac3 file and use a program like besweet to make it into a wav or mp3 file or whatever you need.Donatello - The Shredder? Michelangelo - Maybe all that hardware is for making coleslaw?
In Europe we don't have FTA HDTV mpeg 4 broadcasts, except some promos and a couple of German channels.
TPS is a subscription service...
