Anyways I need some help guys, I’m working on a avi(Xvid) to DVD. I use NeroVision Express cuz it’s easy to use, any ways I wanted to know if there a way to making the DVD with the avi but it comes with srt file (subtitles) without having re-encode using virtualdub.

If I can’t use NeroVision Express, what tools should I use. oh and if i have to re-encode using virtualdub can you guys help me out with a guide of some kind, please

    Thanx guys

  2. The easy answer would be to get an all in one encoder which supports subs, such as ConvertXToDVD, DIKO, Avi2Dvd or The FilmMachine. They can be downloaded here:

Ok i tried Avi2Dvd but it messed up the ratio, but its better then nothing , it forced it into 16:9 when its 2.35:1.

2.35 can only be converted to letterbox 4:3 with wide black bars, or 16:9 with narrow black bars. They are the only options with DVD. Even commercial 2.35:1 DVDs are 16:9 with narrow bars.
