    Hi I have lots of original DVDs and woould like to put them in my computer. What is the best and fastes way to do that?

    dvdfab decrypter or anydvd for the latest dvds. Rip the entire dvd and then you can play them with most dvd software like windvd, mpc, videolan just select play dvd from hd or open the VIDEO_TS folder.

    another question: I have a DVD of private stuff and I want to send it to a friend of mine. How can I prepare a single .avi or wmv or .mpeg file to do that?

    great! Fairuse is very easy and FAST but my copy is without chapters, therefore completely different from my original DVD
