Haven't tried this yet, but a couple questions...

Is there any way to simulate the PSP connection, to allow the rendering, without actually having the PSP connected to the pc? I'd prefer to render the file(s) to the hard drive then manually copy them over. It seems silly to have the PSP connected during the transcoding, and I would hope that the transcoding is not writing out its progress to the memstick in the PSP.

    Thanks!

  2. Get a Memstick Pro --> memory stick adapter and put it in a USB card reader. It will read as a PSP connected.

you can render to a folder and copy it over later

Thanks for the replies. After reading a few other posts, but still not having tried the Export To PSP menu item, it seems that the Export To PSP is just an ehnanced version of the AVC rendering process, which will do the copy step for you.

I guess manually rendering to AVC in a folder should work fine, but I'll have to handle the file naming and thumbnail jpg/thm myself.

    Thanks again!
