This DVD wont play?

Hey , I got a Samsung Writemaster "SH-W162C DVD-Writer".
And I havent tried burning yet but thats not the issue.

I put my already burned cd's and dvd's + and - works
Havent tried Dual Layer dvd's yet. But I tried all kind of burned and non-burned DVD's with movies.

Now this DVD , bought from a store , wont play?
I put the DVD in , and the comp acts like there is no DVD in it...
It works on the 2 standalone dvd's in this household , it works on the Xbox
but It wont work in my Samsung Writemaster?

I installed the software for updating it but it said its already the newest firmware.

What could be the problem here?

what dvd is it?

put the disc in the drive, open dvd decrypter and put it in iso/read mode & take a screen cap.

have the DVD replaced by a vendor (could be manuf. defect) or backup on a different machine

I seem to recall that some UDF mode DVDs cannot be read by most DVD drives in PCs by default (I think ISOBUster can still find a way to read them though).

Both DVD Decrypter and IsoBuster says No media Present
