  1. I got a big problem when I try to burn divx movies and want to watch them on my DVD player: Pioneer DV 575.

They look and sounds great when I watch them on my PC. But when I'm burning them on a DVD+r disc (I use to put 4-5 movies on one disc) most of them will be black and white when I play them on my DVD. But sometimes one of the movies will be in it's normal color. What can I've done wrong? They look good and sound good on my DVD, the only problem is that they're black and white.

I'm using a burner from NEC and using Nero when I've burning. Can I've done something wrong in Nero when I've burned?

    Thanks for all help!

At a guess, I would say some are NTSC, some are PAL, and whichever doesn't match your TV system comes out B&W.

  3. Oh, I see. Yeah, I know that my TV only supports PAL, but I didn't think Divx movies was PAL or NTSC.

Your player will probably try to output the correct format based on framerates. 25 fps for PAL, 23.976 or 29.976 for NTSC.

    Yes, they still are.
    If in doubt, Google it.

If they are black and white but are watchable then get a scart lead and set dvd player output to RGB and it should show them in colour.

Or if the dvd player has the option to set either PAL,NTSC or AUTO then set it to PAL.
