flash audio no longer working

i'm not sure what's going on with my flash plugin/player, but i no longer have audio though it.. this has been a problem the last few days.. when it first came up i uninstalled flash & reinstalled it.. audio started working again.. the next day, audio stopped working.. so i tried uninstalling & reinstalling agian, didnt work. tried clearing cache, still doesnt work.. this happens in both firefox & IE..

all other audio works fine, wmv videos in IE & firefox, winamp, games, dvd's, etc..

any ideas?

damn... this happend to me like 6 months ago.... I can't remember, but I think I had to update my audio driver...

I will check my laptop this weekend and see what I did. (thats were I had the problem)

well.. i dont see how my audio driver would somehow work, then stop working, but for flash audio only..

i cant think of anything else to do, asides from a clean install.
