    I inserted a DVD in Panasonic DMR E50. The disk will not play. It starts reading but then it stops. No function works. Cannot open the tray, cannot turn off. I unplugged it hoping it will reset. It still does the same.
    Please help. The disk is burned. I have had the same problem when the disk will not play but at least will eject.

    Insert paper clip when straightened in small hole on front of drive, push in and it should eject.....
