  1. I downloaded the ProjectX v09.03.01. It always pop up a Startup Error:

    Error while starting Project-X:

    java.lang.Exception:
commons-net library not accessible! see readme.txt[ii]
ensure the correct location/calsspath, related to the executed.jar
    at net.sourceforge.dvd.projectx.common.Start.main(Sta rt.java:256)

    Please help. Thanks.

did you download our projectx compiled?
    http://download.videohelp.com/~downl...ctX_09.3.0.zip

or the standard java release? where you just run the projectx.jar file.

works fine here, just tested it. using winxp sp2.

did you uninstall old version? if you had any installed.

you can also use the java version, just download and install http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
then download the java version and doubleclick on projectx.jar to run it.

I re-installed Windows XP, Java SE (with NetBeans) and Java EE this week and I got the same error above. I made a newbie mistake: in WinZip I dragged the files to a directory which I named myself (Project-X). I should have used the Extract button in WinZip, so the directory structure would have been the same as in the .zip file (by dragging no directories will be created). =)
