How to display Subtitle with WMHD

Hi,

I have WMV video (WMHD) and subtitle file in SRT or Sub/Idx format. What kind of player or plug in that can display these subtitles when I play the video?

tried vsfilter? name the video and subs with same name like video.wmv and video.srt

if it wont work try mpc and load the sub manually.

I can't display subtitle by MediaPlayer 10 for WMV video, the DirectShow icon does not show on system tray. But, I can display Sub/Idx subtitle with AVI (DivX or Xvid) video using MP 10. Also, I can display srt or Sub/idx subtitle by MPC for both WMV and AVI video. I have two more questions:
1. I read the requirement of playing WMHD from Microsoft website, it need MediaPlayer 9 or higher to play WMHD for 1080p video and multi-chanel audio. When I use MPC to play my WMHD video, I can see the video and hear the audio on my 5.1 speakers. Is there any problem for playing WMHD using MPC?
2. Why VSFilter can work with AVI video and cannot work with WMV video?
