    I have a SONY RDR-HX900 DVR. I would like to upgrade the hard drive from the 160GB HDD to something larger (250GB or larger). How do I go about doing this? Is there a program to format the disk to work with the unit, and if so where can I get the program. Please reply as soon as possible. Thanks.

    I haven't heard of anybody who has been able to replace the hdd in a Sony recorder. Lite-On and Pioneer - yes, Sony, JVC, Phillips and other brand-recorders - no.
