Help uploading & linking to a file Test

Okay, i messed with this before and gave up!!

Just tried again!!!

If i want to upload a zip file for someone to DL in a thread, it's a small 50kb font,
How do i know where to link to it in my post

I saw p_l testing it but

It's the same thing as uploading pictures except that you wrap it in http://[/url ] tags instead of [img ...atucksfile.zip blah blah blah.

See, i thought i tried that before and it did not work, but i saw that when ever i uploaded it, it looked like it was in the guides section with the thread # in the URL so i was trying to link it that way with the [url][/url ]

I was trying to link it like this, adalogo.zip
Obviously i put the spaces there so it can be seen what i was doing.

You never need to do that manually as the board will do it for you. The code you mention above works if you want to replace the actual filename with words instead. Like when the filename is noatuck.zip but you wish to display "my guide" in your post and have those words become a link.

In order to do that you type my guide or
my guide

I know all that other stuff, but like i said, i thought i tried it the "right" way before and it did not work so i was trying the other way without even trying the "right" way again for files 8)
