  1. Hi when I try to play a DVD on POWER DVD I get this error code, them
    n it it says "This copy protected disc can not be played when the TV out function is enabled.", now I must tell you..I DON'T have a TV OUT on my video card..I have an old IBM S3 Savagee4xtreme, with an Adapter, when I try to use Windows MEdia Player , I can HEAR the DVD, but again can't see it, I use to be able to watch DVD's, can anyone help? also I have Windows XP..and a few months ago I did install a windows Diamond Stealth Video card..that DID have a TV out,,,but I Uninstalled it, I think the prob came after I did that., please help , thank yiou!

    Try installing the latest video drivers for your card.

    If that doesn't work, switch to a generic windows driver, remove your video card in device manager, then reboot. When windows reboots, don't let it install the drivers automatically. Then install the newest drivers yourself.

    Also, try uninstall and re-installing PowerDVD.

    Method of removing video drivers :

    Control panel , add/remove , uninstall video card drivers and applications .
    System , harware , uninstall video device .

    Pc restart's ... turn pc off .

    Restart pc , hit F5 or F8 to enter safemode .
    Check control panel , system , check for any video device's installed , if listed , uninstall these .

    Reboot pc .

    Xp finds device , tell it to bugger off .

    Now install actual device driver's for the card that is installed .
    Reboot pc .
    Setup video settings , screen size , number of colour's ... done .

    Try dvd playback .

    If no go , now do the powerdvd uninstall / reboot / reinstall / reboot , try dvd again .

    Pm for free dvd player software , under 200kb , only play's from dvd drive or mounted dvd images for now .
