    hi, i cant seem to find a Realtek RTL8100B driver for xp? does anyone know where i can download one?

    tried that one dont work? its for a emachines 820, someone formatted the damm thing & lost the drivers? look on driverguide.com aswell no good there.

    is there any software out there, that can scan a system and tell you what drivers the hardware needs?

    what operating system are you using? XP should have the drivers. have you checked the BIOS to make sure the lan is ENABLED.

    you should be able to go through device manager to see which hardware needs drivers. didn't the emachines pc come with a recovery disc?

    the emachines is a friends pc, the disk they cant find? they're using xp, just cant seem to find the damm driver

    Then do a live chat with emachines tech support to get the correct driver. I had to do that with a compaq computer which was frustrating but I got all the drivers for my cousins pc. All my cousin had was the xp home cd but not the drivers cd.

    ok, there's some software out there done by some german company almost the same to cpuz, that will look for the drivers for you, but i dont knw the name?
