when I right-click an item in Windows, I've got an extra "Open With..." and I'd really like to get rid of the WinZip option.
Is this a registry tweak, or can somebody tell me the Windows (2K Pro) trick to change this?
TIA!!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

cant you make that change from winzip itself, under preferences or options or configuration.

it's in the shell file when you install winzip
You can go here in the registry to change it:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\wi nzip
Just delete that file and it will be gone.
Safest way:
Unistall winzip
reboot
Reinstall winzip and when it ask to "Add to shell extensions" say NO -
yeh, I got rid of the WnZip deal, but what about that extra "Open with"??
