    I have a toshiba DVD player and after some play in the dvd player the disc has on it a z shaped scratch on the outter edge of the disc. Only 1 scratch on this isnt the 1st dvd this has done it too either. What could cause this?

    I can only guess that this player loads like a car CD player....with no tray?
