Taiyo Yuden 8x vs 16x

Hey for those of you who buy Taiyo Yuden Dvd-R disks which do the majority of you buy? Do you get the cheaper 8x($40.00) or do you get the 16x($54.00ish) My batch of 16x are almost gone ive been burning my disk at 8x. Do you all save the money or are you all burning higher than 8x

I have been buying the 8x just because the price is cheaper and I burn only at 8x.
