trying to capture in vdub with wdm with my tv wonder elite and can't seem to change the size from 720x480 (the bottom lines in pal are cut off). using latest version of the drivers as of today (6.14.10.6319 for 'ati wdm tv tuner'). says not supported by card if i switch to anything other than 720x480 in set custom format. any help with this card would be appreciated, as i really don't want to buy an all in wonder pci express for my new machine and lose $200 when i already have a video card that comes with it.

Current software has been problematic. The OEM Cyberlink PowerCinema 3 is not ready for this card.

cool, appreciate it.
The card you have is Hardware Encoder not an AVI capture card.
seems to have worked just fine in vdub to capture uncompressed avi ... or does the fact that it does hardware compression affect its available output resolutions?
The card does capture to uncompressed AVI without encoding to MPEG-2 first.
You can use GraphEdit to capture to either MPEG-2 or AVI.
BTW nate, I love your site
