Generic Ink for Epson R200

I was curious if anyone had tried this generic R200 ink from Rima:

I buy my media from Rima and it would be convenient to get them both from the same place (since ink lasts about 100 discs, I run out of both around the same time anyway).

If you haven't tried this ink, but have tried others, please tell me your experiences/recommendations. I know that generic ink can tend to clog our printer, but I'm willing to experiment, since a new printer costs about the same as new Epson ink (as is often pointed out).

They fail to mention the brand of ink. I tried a pack of generic ink (Q-Ink) and it was awful; the colors didn't reproduce properly and made everything look greener than the genuine Epson ink.

After that, I will only buy the Epson ink for my Epson printer. The generic ink is cheaper, and it shows.

I've had good results with ink from Mega Toners and Swift Ink.

I use this ink all the time, can only tell a slight difference when side by side with the genuine Epson ink. No problems with clogging or anything else. They have been great for me.

It's their own generic brand. I love it and it is ridiculous cheap.

I have used the G&G brand ink in my Epson 200, with no problems at all. Can't remember where I got it from. I use CIS now, so it's been awhile since i bought cartridges

I have been using C&G Ink From Meritline for over a year. Just recieved a 14 pack yesterday for $ 58 and some change with shipping. Have had no problems at all good ink. 4 blacks and 2 of all the other colors.

I have used the ink from Megatoners with great success, you can't go wrong for the price.

I finally got around to trying the R200 ink from Rima.com. It's the G&G brand. So far this is the best generic ink I've come across for Epson printers. I've tried several different brands and they all had problems from the color being way off to having to run through multiple cleaning cycles to get the printer to print properly after changing the ink cartridge. The G&G cartridges just plugs in and works and the color is close enough to the original Epson ink that I did not have to make adjustments to my printer settings.

I've been getting my ink for my R200 from Rima for about 10 months, now. It really is the best 3rd party ink that I've found, it's also the least expensive. I have paid no attention to what what brand it is, but it has been consistent in quality the whole time I've been using it.

I picked up a set of cartridges from Supermedia Store and had no problems. My current cartridges are from an e-bay auction and have worked just fine, too. The set of e-bay cartridges cost $16 vs. $70 for a set of Epson. Since the printer only cost $100 I can run two sets of non-OEM cartridges and throw the printer away and still be better off than buying OEM replacements.

I should mention that I almost only use the R200for CD's and DVD's. I have not compared photo prints made from OEM and third party cartridges.
