I'm trying to build some music compilation DVD's from full disc copies created with DVD Shrink.

I've got all the files I need using DVD Shrink re-author but some of the track times are massively wrong e.g. one disk shows the main movie length as 1415 hours! When I try to extract the required tracks these show crazy times too e.g. one track added from one of these discs showed a track size of 208 MB but a time value of 108 hours. When I come to burn the compilation DVD Shrink crashes when it hit the badly timed track.

The 'bad' tracks only seem to occur trying to get tracks from dual-layer disc copies but, confusingly, not all of them.

Any ideas on how to correct these weird track lengths?

I have seen Shrink show up some DL disks as having over 17 GB on them due to the way it sometimes interprets multi-angle/branching structures. But I haven't seen it throw up numbers like that for lengths.

If these are coming straight from the DVDs themselves, try ripping with something else - DVD Decrypter/DVD Fab Decrypter or similar.

We have a winner! DVD Fab Decrypter solved it.

If I was wearing a hat, I'd take it off to you!
