  1. Hi,

    ive just finished editing together a movie using imovie then exported a quicktime movie. i want to creat a dvd however i dont have an internal burner so i cant use idvd. how do i encode this file in ffmpex...it wont let me encode at the moment.

    Please supply more information. What does ffmpegX tell you when you try to encode?

  3. well, i selected a few different options from the target format menu eg: dvdffmpeg and then pressed encode - the progress window comes up and then it says failed straight away.

    any ideas?

  4. What version of iDVD are you trying to use? The one from iLife 5 will burn to an external DVR; the previous versins can be tricked into doing it by the use of two plug-ins (Hurz and Furz) or by using patchburn 3. See this thread:
